Choose from 1.2 km or 2.5 km walking trails or 5.8 km cycle trail (1 hr). The Mountain Bike Trail is 11 km.
OPEN:
Trail maps can be found in each car park. Each route is clearly way-marked.
Exceat Trail - 1.2 km, moderate (on foot): A lovely woodland walk to a viewpoint with spectacular views across the river Cuckmere. Steep in places.
White Horse View Walk - 2.5 km, moderate (on foot): A picturesque walk along the edge of the forest, overlooking adjoining downland.
Jeremy Cole Mountain Bike Trail - Difficult (for experienced riders only); 2 hrs: Teenage mountain biking enthusiasts will enjoy the challenge of this fast undulating single-track route
Family Cycle Trail (1 hr) - A relatively flat and wide route (with some steeper sections). The majority of this trail runs along forest roads, although there are some unsurfaced tracks which may become muddy at wetter times of the year.
Car Parking:
Use Seven Sisters Country Park (Forest) car park (BN25 4AD) - For both cycle trails and the Exceat Walk
Use Littlington Road car park (Forestry Commission) for the White Horse View Trail - (BN25 4AJ)
Dogs are welcome in the forest.
Facilities:
Toilets (inc. an accessible Changing Places toilet) and a Grab & Go snack kiosk are located in the courtyard behind the Visitor Centre, adjacent to the Forest car park.
