Ok, so the first 15 minutes of this walk aren't the most exciting (walking along a track with hedgerows on either side), but persevere and you'll be rewarded with amazing views! Consider bringing some sweets to incentivise those with littler legs.
The whole route is along a chalk track. A visit here is therefore a good option for the winter months, as it remains relatively mud-free.
Forming part of the South Downs Way, the route is suitable for proficient mountain bikers. Although, please note that the first 1 km is uphill!
Accessing the walk
From the car park turn left, walking along a track with farm buildings on your left. Continue along this same path all the way to the top of the hill. The ascent is gentle at first, later becoming a little steeper. When you've finished walking at the top of the hill, retrace your steps back down to the car park.
