Follow the big dinosaur footprints from the car park to reach 'Dinosaur Island'.
Musical instruments, dinosaur sculptures, a wheelchair-accessible roundabout and accessible ramps make Dinosaur Island fun for children with a wide range of abilities. There’s play equipment for bigger children too (up to 14 yrs) – head for the more challenging trails and climbing frames.
Dogs must be kept on a lead whilst walking in the park (Apr-Sept inclusive) and cycling is prohibited.
Toilet facilities are located by the Visitor Centre (inc. disabled WC and baby changing facilities) and adjacent to Dinosaur Island.
A wide range of hot and cold food and drinks is available from the cafe overlooking the lake.
